End Of The New Day

At Money In The Bank, New Day member Kofi Kingston shocked everyone by winning the Money In The Bank ladder match. Two nights later on Smackdown Live, his two best friends and teammates, Big E and Xavier Woods, arranged a celebration at the end of the show to commemorate their friend’s accomplishment.  

Big E’s intro blasted throughout the arena, followed by New Day’s entrance theme before the three of them made their way out on stage. Big E was shaking his hips, Xavier was playing his trombone (Franchesca II Turbo), and in the middle was Kofi, holding up his newly won Money In The Bank briefcase.  

“Come on Correy. Get up and celebrate.” said Byron Saxton as The New Day made their way down the ramp towards the ring.
His commentary partner, Corey Graves, responded with his usual “stick in the mud”  attitude.
“Shut up Byron. Last night was the worst Money In The Bank ladder match ever. I can’t believe this clown won. Can you imagine Kofi Kingston as WWE Champion?”

As The New Day got into the ring, Xavier Woods got on the mic.
“Ladies and Gentlemen”  he announced. “Introducing, Mr. Money In The Bank, Kofi Kingston!”

“Last night,” Big E said. “Kofi climbed the ladder, above seven other superstars, to retrieve the coveted Money In The Bank briefcase! That means, the champion, who ever it is. Has to defend the title when ever Kofi wants a title shot.”

“And when Kofi cashes in his briefcase. We ALL become, W,W,E,Champion.” Xavier added

Kofi then took to the mic.“Guys guys guys, can you believe I’ve been in the WWE for 10 years?  And in that time, I’ve done it all. I’m a 4 time Intercontinental champion, 3 time United States Champion, 4 time tag team champion, and now, Mr. Money In The Bank. But by far the best part of my career, was being with you guys. The two of you have made my life so much fun, both in and out of the ring. The titles we’ve won, the video games we’ve played,... the pancakes we’ve eaten. And think about, by being together, we’ve ALL found more success than being apart. So thanks for being my friends. And I can’t wait to cash this in, and win the WWE Championship, for us.

Kofi’s speech clearly moving Big E and Xavier Woods emptionaly, knowing what Kofi said was from the heart.

“BECAUSE…” Kofi shouted.  “NEW, DAY ROCKS! NEW, DAY ROCKS!

The New Day started clapping and cheering with the crowd, when suddenly, Kofi naild Big E in the back of the head with the briefcase. The chanting came to a sudden hult. Xavier looked over to Kofi, who’s smile had been replaced by a serious look.
He then hit Xavier over the head with the briefcase. Followed by an assault on Xavier, hitting him repeatedly with the briefcase.  

“Oh my God! Kofi why?!” a shocked Tom Phillips asked
“Why? Why not?! It’s about time Kofi started taking this seriously.” Graves responded, clearly happy at the sight of Kofi beating up his former friends

Kofi eventually stopped attacking Xavier and Big E. He then just left the ring and walked backstage, leaving his former friends riving in pain in the ring behind him.
